Another week of football betting predictions for you to digest and hopefully use to your advantage. Saturday 18th February dishes up a selection of FA Cup matches, these are usually tougher to call than even the often capricious Premier League but we've had plenty of success in the past and we're hoping to repeat this tomorrow. Andre Villas-Boas faces a potential banana skin that could heap more pressure on his position at Chelsea Football Club, Birmingham visit Stamford Bridge looking to continue last years fine cup form. We can only see a Chelsea win however, with the odds unsurprisingly poor on this outcome it's probably not the best game to bet on, a 3-1 victory for Chelsea is definitely one of the best options available here.
Arsenal travel to The Stadium of Light for another match up against Sunderland and they'll be looking to rescue their flagging season a bit after the disappointing loss to Milan in the week. This should be a tight affair with neither team wanting to give anything away and despite Arsenal's ever changing back four they could well keep a clean sheet here and you'll get nice odds if they manage to.
* All winnings are based on a standard £5 bet.
The Premier League returns for round 25 of fixtures and we offer up our score predictions and betting tips for another 5 games. We offer our tips on the following matches; Blackburn v Q.P.R, Bolton v Wigan, Everton v Chelsea, Fulham v Stoke and Sunderland v Arsenal. The first two games should be an early set of relegation dogfights and a good chance for either of those 4 teams to get a jump on the rest with a win and 3 points. Blackburn will be smarting after their hammering at the Emirates last week (one we alluded to last week!), and should prove to be a much tougher prospect for the travelling QPR. We think their priority has to be a clean sheet and it will be interesting to see if Chris Samba will be back in the team following his lack of a January transfer.
The other interesting game could be at Goodison Park where the Andre Villa Boas' faltering Chelsea take on Everton. David Moyes managed to make a couple of shrewd deals in the transfer window and also seem to have Tim Cahill back as a regular, with Stracqualursi set to push Jovetic for a starting birth. We can see an upset here with an Everton victory on the cards. The return of Essien to the Chelsea line up might help to quell any fears the away supporters may have, it should prove to be an interesting fixture to judge Chelsea's league prospects on.
Another week of Premier League betting tips for you after last week's FA Cup hiatus. Some tasty mid table and relegation battles await this week (sorry to all those Arsenal fans..). The Gunners entertain Blackburn at the Emirates this week although on recent form 'entertain' may be the wrong word. Things should turn around for them this week though, we can't see anything other than a Van Persie inspired victory for Wenger's men - a decent shout from our expert of 3-1 could come to fruition.
The full range of fixtures were providing tips on are the following; Arsenal v Blackburn, Norwich v Bolton, QPR v Wolves, Stoke v Sunderland and West Brom v Swansea. The interesting two from that lot for us is QPR's match with Wolves as we think their new strike partnership could grab a few goals (decent odds on that) and the rejuvinated Sunderland visit Stoke to take on the Potters in Staffordshire. Stoke's home form this year hasn't been as dominant as previous seasons, on this basis it would be easy to see them leaking a couple of goals.
These week we're giving you our FA Cup betting tips and there are some juicy matches to enjoy. The first two on Saturday (QPR v Chelsea and Manchester Utd v Liverpool) had the conspiracy theorists questioning how the FA managed to pull out those crackers especially after all the racism furore that surrounded their previous meetings.
The games our predictions are on are the following; Blackpool v Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton v Swansea, Derby v Stoke, Sheff Utd v Birmingham and West Brom v Norwich.
